What is your theatre like?
Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre is a professional performing
arts theatre with excellent acoustics and sightlines.
We have 506 seats, each offering a completely unobstructed
view of the stage, providing an intimate and inviting
setting for a wide variety of performances.
How far away are the seats from the stage?
All seats are located within 55 feet from the stage.
What time do the doors open?
The doors to the Lobby open one hour before every performance.
Theatre seating usually begins within 5 to 10 minutes.
If a patron has a special reason to be seated before
the Theatre seating begins, please arrive early and
let us know upon your arrival.
Will there be an intermission and an opportunity
to purchase beverages and snacks?
Some of our performances have intermissions, and some
do not. This is the choice of the artist. We do have
a concession which offers water, soft drinks and light
snacks. However, food and beverages are not permitted
in the seating area. The one exception is plastic bottled
water.
Is it okay to take photographs at a concert?
Bringing cameras to concerts in an intimate theatre such
as Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre is generally discouraged.
It is very rare that performers allow members of the
audience to take photographs – and never video.
If you choose to bring a camera, be prepared to honor
any stated requests regarding photography made just
before the performance begins.
Does Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre have
assigned seating?
There are two types of seating at Vacaville Performing
Arts Theatre, Reserved and General Admission. The artist
or performing group chooses which type of seating preferred.
You will be advised of the seating type at the time of
your ticket purchase.
Where do I park?
Parking is free and ample in front of the Vacaville Cultural
Center.
Do you have wheelchair seating available?
Yes. It is important, however, to request wheelchair
or ambulatory seating when purchasing tickets.
Is there a special entrance for physically challenged
patrons?
No. Please come directly to the main Lobby entrance.
Are there any additional fees added to ticket prices?
A $1.00 Theatre Enhancement and Preservation Fee is added to every ticket sold. An Internet Ticketing Fee of $3.00 is added to tickets purchased online.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept checks, cash, and credit cards, including Visa
and MasterCard. All ticket sales are final. There are
no refunds or exchanges.
How can I get involved with Vacaville Performing
Arts Theatre?
There are two ways to become a part of the Theatre beyond
attending the many events here. You may:
- Become a Volunteer and assist with the various
events
- Join On Stage Vacaville and join forces with others
who are raising money to support the artists who perform
at VPAT
