Since its Grand Opening in April
of 1993, the Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre has hosted a
variety of activities, including:
- Popular headlining entertainers
- Symphony and chamber music
- Dance – including ballet, ethnic, modern, jazz,
and children’s productions
- Comedy
- Live theatre – including musicals, dramas, one-man
shows, and children’s theatre
- Business meetings and community events
Among the many nationally and internationally known entertainers
to grace the Theatre's stage are Debbie Reynolds, Lou Rawls,
The Smothers Brothers, Tony Orlando, The Preservation Hall
Jazz Band, The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, The Glenn Miller Orchestra,
The Massenkoff Russian Folk Festival, St. Petersburg Ballet,
Boyz II Men, Rich Little, Duke Ellington Orchestra, Kathy Mattea,
and George Winston.
The Theatre is currently home to many local stars from Vacaville
Ballet Theatre Company, Solano Community Symphony, Vacaville
Concert Society, Alive Music Orchestra, and North Bay Opera.
The Theatre is also host to a variety of annual community events
honoring seniors and youth alike.
The Vacaville Performing Arts Theatre is located in the Vacaville
Cultural Center at 1010 Ulatis Drive. Box Office hours are
Monday through Friday, 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 10 am to 2 pm
and one hour before all ticketed shows.
